Concerning The Recall of the Governor of California and subsequent election

Actor and Republican Party Activist Arnold Schwarzenegger will become the next Governor of the State of California. Governor Gray Davis will be recalled, but Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante will be trounced by Schwarzenegger.

Why? The State of California has, I think, gone through too much with the lights being turned out and with its own self inflicted budget morass (much of which is imposed via citizen initiatives).
